That every living thing on this planet needs water to survive. Yes, each to its own varying degree, but a requirement, and more importantly, a building block of all organisms on a cellular level. So let's geek on that for a quick minute. Our body weight is 50% to 60% water weight for an adult female and male respectively. This is fascinating to actually think about because yes, we know we are mostly water, but take a moment to actually APPRECIATE the vast amount of fluid that makes up YOU in your body. Your muscles and brain are 75% water, your bones are 22%, your liver is 72%, your kidneys are 82% AND they filter around 180 Liters of water inside your body, every day(regardless of your water intake-whoa), your blood is 82% H2O, even your teeth are 5% aqua! Water is the lubrication, fuel, essence of vital functions, and genius substance that makes up our body. Since we are living beings, we require LIVING water...but are we getting it? “What doctors label as disease is 'deep dehydration'.” - F. Batmanghelidj, M.D. Living Water I just want to do a quick jive on living water, and will be creating more content on living and dead water both, so I won't go into too much detail here, but overview the phenomenal facts. There are six basic properties to living water, alive water, water as God, Source, Big Yellow Monkey in the Sun, intended us to consume to fully OPTIMIZE our human experience through homeostatic health. The two big ones I want you to note are: 1- Living water resonates with the life force in your body, meaning that water itself has life force energy. Water that does not have its own life force energy, will require an extra expenditure of our cellular energy, to bring life force back to it, so that the body can use it. It's incredible that our cells are so intelligent to do this, but let's work smarter, not harder people! 2- That living water has a Hexagonal Structure. This is a non-negotiable, AND something you can test at home! Unhealthy water typically has large or pentagonal molecular clusters or remains chaotically formless even as it starts to freeze. Tap water cannot form hexagonal structures. This structure is more than just a beautiful snowflake, the shape is ingeniously designed to match the clusters of water in and around our cells, to maximize interactions, transfers, and intricate energetic communications. Take some tap water on a clear petri dish, or something similar, and put it in the freezer for a few minutes until it is barely starting to freeze. Look at the shapes, I'd love to hear what you see! Try this with different waters as well. We will dive more into these other aspects later, especially pH, but for this article, I just want to create some awareness :) Dead Water “To an untrained eye, dead water still looks like water. So we expect it to do the same job as healthy energetic water.” Charlie Ryrie, author of The Healing Energies of Water The cold, hard truth is that pretty much all of the water that we consume is dead, stagnant, and dead. It does not give us life force energy, it is not clean and pure and certainly is not rich in minerals. Not that we necessarily meant to, or that we knew what we were doing at the time, but we humans have basically degraded or destroyed water- with our chemicals, pollution, and "make-it-safe" processes. EVERYTHING FINDS ITS WAY INTO THE WATER. Let's look at a few water sources that we partake this life-sustaining beverage from. Tap Water Oofta, this might just be the worst. Results of a new survey conducted for NSF, a global public health and safety organization, reveal that while most U.S. consumers drink tap water (71 percent) and more than half (55 percent) are concerned about contaminants in their drinking water or don’t know what’s in it, nearly half (42 percent) do not take steps to filter or treat their home’s drinking water. Water treatment plants use basic filtration and chlorine to remove microbes and contaminants from our polluted water. This process makes the water “safe”, because it kills most germs and bacteria, but it also destroys water’s life-giving properties.Chlorine is not good for water because it has a strong ionic pull that easily distorts water’s healthful crystalline structure. Remember that structure is essential for living water. Chlorine has been associated with heart problems, cancer, and arteriosclerosis. Boiling water does not get rid of chlorine! It changes it into a carcinogen called trihalomethane. Another problem is that tap water tends to have an erratic pH (as low as 5.5 or as high as 10) which disturbs the body’s natural acid/alkaline balance of pH 7.35. Keeping water in stagnant storage tanks and forcing it to travel through miles of pipes (which is a whole nother disgusting topic) strips the water of its natural energy and oxygen. By the time tap water comes out of your faucet, there are usually no healthy properties. Don't get me started on the added fluoride... Do yourself a favor, and test your tap water. Test your filtered water if you drink that too. Click HERE to buy the most popular one on Amazon. Awareness is the first step my friends. Filtered Water, Bottled Water, and Reverse Osmosis Many filters remove chlorine and heavy metals, but most still allow certain contaminants to pass through. Parasites like Cryptosporidium and Giardia are not killed by chlorine or UV light and can easily pass through carbon filters. Radioactive and volatile chemicals are also very hard to remove.Distillation and Reverse Osmosis do better at removing contaminates, but they also completely strip the water of all the beneficial stuff as well. Speaking to people who have Reverse Osmosis in their homes, tend to actually feel more dehydrated when they just drink that water because there is literally nothing substantial that the cells are able to use. Not that there aren't some advantages to Reverse Osmosis, I'm just speaking on Dead vs. Alive here. Bottled water goes through these filtration processes. Natural spring water goes through it, thereby killing the naturalness of it. Some may add some minerals back into the water, but this still does not negate the fact that it is processed and then stored for long periods of time. Yes, our bodies benefit from all of this water, because we need water to survive- but it doesn't carry ALL the life-giving qualities vital to be actual living water, water that allows us to THRIVE. Well Water The EPA estimates that more than 23 million households rely on private wells for drinking water in the United States. I personally have always been a huge fan of well water, however, there were some places where the water was too hard, too mineral-rich, to really even be useable/drinkable. Well water is great because it is richer in natural minerals, doesn't go through treatment processes, no chemicals are directly added, and it doesn't go through nasty pipes and storage. Sounds like a winner right?! Well, there are some bummers. Water described as “hard” contains high amounts of dissolved calcium and magnesium. Hard water is not a health risk per se but is a nuisance because of mineral buildup on plumbing fixtures and poor soap and or detergent performance.Even though wells are dug deep, contaminants still leech in through the soil. Just a fact. Contamination from agricultural runoff is one of the most common and problematic health and safety issues. Septic tanks located too close to a private well can also cause contamination. One of the biggest concerns is nitrate contamination. At elevated levels, nitrates pose a health risk to pregnant mothers and young children.This is why reverse osmosis filters and such are then installed, which leads us back to the above.. What Is The Best Water? Depends on who you talk to, or where you are at in the world. The reality of the situation is that right now there is so much information, so many different ideas and fads, that it is hard to discern which is the "best" water to be drinking. A perfect example of this is the alkaline water industry which is booming right now, and then there is science (and common sense) that is stating alkaline water is not good for human consumption. Same with the reverse-osmosis systems. Another example is hydrogen-rich water. I know, all water has hydrogen in it, but we are talking hydrogen-enhanced water, that has pure hydrogen molecules per parts per million (ppm). I'll create an article with the science of it later. You can get a bottle on Amazon for $40 USD, and I'm sorry, that is a scam. You can get a bottle for $300 USD, which claims to produce hydrogen and may, however, it doesn't disclose the evaporation rate and the dangerous by-products that are created during the process, making the water more dangerous than helpful. Then there is a specific company with a 20K machine that says it does both of those things^ and there is a lot to be revealed there. Water from a natural spring nearby? Possibly, but it could also have high amounts of trace minerals, which your body will have a hard time processing if that is the only water you drink, and can cause kidney stones among other issues. How the heck do you know what to trust? Personal discernment is huge. Asking questions and getting straightforward answers and resources. EDUCATION. If you want to purchase something to enhance your everyday drinking water, don't be lazy. Do your research, find someone you trust, ask questions, go through reviews, look into the company and the funding, and listen to your gut. Try a few different types of water and filters and see what works best with YOUR BODY. Test those waters and filters. BE EDUCATED. What Do I Do? Currently, I am drinking tap water through a Brita water filter, or the 5-gallon jugs we get delivered to our home. Planning to purchase a different water filter in the near future, and I will discuss that once I research and find the best one.To supplement minerals I add Himalayan Pink Salt to my water in the morning, and have some Celtic Salt on order!Learn more about Celtic Salt here.I also like to use Trace Mineral Drops every once in a while, especially if traveling or when I know I have not been getting adequate nutrition. Through body education, I am working to inner-stand if these are really necessary for my body. Blindly taking supplements or jumping on the next health trend is reckless if not dangerous. How I Quit Smoking Cigarettes Naturally
Okay, so I have to disclose that I'm only using the word "quit" because it's catchy for search engine searches, and that's what most people are looking to do, is "quit" smoking. Other than this title, I very much dislike and don't associate with the word "quit". No one likes a quitter, especially me, and even more especially- smokers. Since we are being honest, I'll tell you something else that may boggle your mind....I smoked a cigarette a few weeks ago. And I'm still a non-smoker. I'm still a smoking liberation coach. Say whaaat? How does that work? It's liberation my friends, read on :) 17:1 Year Ratio I smoked my first cigarette in 2005, when I was 14/15, and never looked back. As soon as I started I knew this was going to be my thing, I liked it, and I was all in-with a rebel yell. Fast forward to 2022, I was 31, it had been 17 years that I had never really once though about "quitting". Minus my pregnancy in 2020 where I thought about quitting, however just significantly cut back (there's more to that story than just an inability to stop). I was finally ready to seriously consider quitting smoking. I had a one year old son, my life and behaviors had drastically changed, I was more into holistic health and spirituality than I had ever been, and smoking just didn't seem to fit the picture anymore. Except for the fact it fit the picture very well, because I was still in it. The person I had been for the last 17 years still very much resided inside me, and didn't seem like I was going anywhere. Don't worry, the story ends well! It took a year of exploring smoking cessation to get me to where I am today. Liberated from cigarettes. 17:1 ratio is pretty damn good I think. Your Story Is Your Superpower You are the only one who will EVER have your story. Who will EVER experience life the way that you do. This is freaking beautiful and brilliant and maddening. Why maddening? Because it means there is no manual, no one-size-fits-all method, no step-by-step program that works for everyone. Does not exist. What does exist, is YOUR way. Your beautiful and brilliant way of exploring and interacting with the world, and specific things you want to accomplish. When you look at your past story (what you can remember of it, hehe) you will discover, unlock, open up, and bring to light SO much about yourself and your experiences. You just have to look at it. Then what, you say? Then we start asking questions, taking radical responsibility, and practicing love and forgiveness.Effing proud of you for getting to this point. Your journey leading up to smoking that first cigarette, and from that cigarette up until this very moment reading these words, has been unique, important, valuable, and YOURS. Own every moment of it. Right, How I "Quit" Smoking Like I staid, it took me a year to get to this point, so I will quickly narrate how that year went. Decided I wanted to stop- made a big deal out of it, stopped for a week, started again. Quit again, this time for three months, until a specific day triggered me into buying a pack, however didn't smoke but a few for another month or so. Then traveled to Greece....few days in bought a pack, and then another. Then when I got home I bought a pack. Then came the shame cycles. The buy a pack to smoke a few and throw it away. Then not smoke for a week to go and buy a pack to throw it away after a few. Then smoke the whole pack over a day or two. Then not smoke for a few days. I think you get the point. It was hell, and I wasted a lot of money and a lot of cigarettes. So I said eff it, I'm smoking again, without all this bullshit. There was a voice inside me that said it was okay, that this was going to serve me, and I would know when the time came. So I smoked. Then, a few months ago(at the time of writing this post), I felt the shift, felt the call, and ideas started organizing about what I needed to do, try, experience, articulate, etc. I did a couple months of my own smoking cessation research and exploration. I made so many connections between my smoking and other areas of my life- it was mind-blowing, eye-opening, freaky and empowering!I started pulling in the incredible pile of resources I had available to me, instead of utilizing them for every aspect of my life EXCEPT my smoking. (Self-Imposed Spiritual Shame-Guilt). Then I did it. I had the ideas lined up, the such-and-such purchased, the plan in place, accoutrements acquired! I lined up my pack to end in the evening, and I knew I would wake up and step into my new existence, my higher timeline. The date I woke up was Thursday, May 11th. Then was Mother's Day Weekend, and I went up to spend the weekend with my family. All of them. Including the brother who smokes. I probably had a total of 10 cigarettes over the 2.5 days. Then I came home, and I didn't smoke. Got right back into the swing of my new existence and higher timeline. Two weekends later I went back up north to visit friends. Had a cigarette with an old friend in a park. Had a few cigarettes at a friends house where I stayed overnight. Then I came home, and I didn't smoke. Got right back into the swing of my new existence and higher timeline. I bummed a cigarette off a person outside Wal-Mart. Got right back into the swing of my new existence and higher timeline. I had a couple cigarettes at my friends house after dinner and drinks with her and her husband. Got right back into the swing of my new existence and higher timeline. I understand that this goes against everything we've ever been told by everyone (and Allen Carr) about quitting smoking. I spent 17 years forming neural pathways that are dedicated to cigarettes, and I know myself well enough (now, through doing the self work and inquiry) to know that me having these aforementioned cigarettes, are part of my process to freedom.They are not failures. I'm more free from cigarettes than I could have imagined. I'm also free from shame, self-deception, and the worship of a false last-cigarette god. I'm not telling you that this is the way to stop smoking. Hell no. I'm telling you MY STORY. MY JOURNEY. A very abridged version at that. You Don't Really Want To Quit Smoking The coolest thing that comes with freedom is honesty.Can't have one without the other in my opinion. You don't want to quit smoking. Neither did I. Because we aren't friggen quitters, and god if the thought of quitting doesn't sound so damn dismal. We literally think and feel as if we are losing something, and it's never the right time.We don't remember who we were before it, and don't know who we are without it. We know it's not good for us, but it's comfortable and familiar. Sounds like one of those toxic relationships eh? Maybe we shouldn't quit cigarettes, but break up with them instead? This allows for those slips- the seeing them out with friends having a good time and falls back into arms, or the drunk night trying to forget which drives us back. You understand the analogies right? Again this is a very basic concept, but it allows for more forgiveness, more understanding on our part. We remember the good times along with the bad. We know we have to leave, and will be better off, but there is bittersweetness to it that is human to savor. We don't have to hate our ex, we just have to move on.(And every break up looks different! Could be clean, could be messy, could be hurtful, could move across the country, could take a long time-again, everyone's journey is unique and suited to them). Then one day, it's over. DigestZen, For More Than Just Digestion

I had looked at the websites description of the product and certainly was not upset by the inclusion of the product, but I can't say it was anything I would have added to an order. Upgrade Your Sheets
This just sounds sensual right? To upgrade it to take to the next level, to get better, to trade in the older model and get into the more luxurious ride. Bedding, it's one of those things we interact with every. single. day, that we don't even pay much attention too, until we have to wash it. I'm saying this as a general because of course there are people out there that are very specific with their preferred bed type and the way they care for it. I'm talking about those people like me, who really haven't given a shit what they sleep on as long as its halfway clean (this does not apply to hotel or other beds, those I would like to be clean), and isn't itchy or too slippery. This is for the folks that may not make their bed every day (even though it is a habit we are tryyyying to get into).This is for the people that have never looked at the tag to know what its made of, let alone how to wash it except for throwing it all bunched up in the machine. It's time to upgrade your sheets. I'm moving into this more intentional lifestyle, this treating even the mundane and regular things with a sense of reverie and respect. Realizing that everything I interact with on a daily basis is FREAKING ENERGY, and can either enhance or hinder my own personal frequency and energy state. Bedding might not seem as functionally relevant or important as lets say the water you drink or the food you eat, but we are not here to scale what is "more or less" important and impactful. ***The key here is to treat everything(most things, some things, it's a process) as sacred and life giving and worthy of some intentional intention. ** Think about it, you lay in between those sheets for 6-8 hours a day. That's 2,172- 2,920 hours per year, and that isn't even counting any extracurricular bed activities. This is an area where we should absolutely make benefit us, and we can do it with hardly any additional effort. Let's Talk Aesthetics This is one of those things that feels soo good! Even when you wash your sheets and put them back on your bed, it feels great to get cozied up in them later that night, knowing they are fresh and clean. Now if you go and buy yourself some new sheets, wash those babies, and put them on the bed, doesn't that send a little tingle down your spine?!Maybe you picked a new color, a new pattern, a new fabric, something that really caught you eye and made you say Mmmmm. These is something powerful and uplifting in these simple acts. The bed looks more visually pleasing, which may make you inspired to make the whole room more visually pleasing. You may feel turned on, go grab your partner and mess those sheets up a little. There's no denying it. It feels good. It looks good. It's time to upgrade your sheets. Let's Talk Frequency I'm going to paste a paragraph form LifeGivingLinen.com because it really just says it all. "In 2003, a study was done by a Jewish doctor, Heidi Yellen, on the frequencies of fabric. According to this study, the human body has a signature frequency of 100, and organic cotton is the same – 100. The study showed that if the number is lower than 100, it puts a strain on the body. A diseased, nearly dead person has a frequency of about 15, and that is where polyester, rayon, and silk register. Nonorganic cotton registers a signature frequency of about 70. If we can raise the vibration of little things in our world, to encourage a higher frequency state of being, why wouldn't we? First is awareness, so now you can check that off the list. Second might be cost or the idea of it as a "luxury" not a necessity. That's something you have to work through on your own. But I will tell you- You Are Worth It. Start where you are, maybe just upgrading to 100% Cotton, then 100% percent Organic Cotton, then splurging on the Linen fitted sheet, or just the pillowcases.Indulge yourself. Allow yourself the best, to raise your frequency, to send healthy energy to your body and energetic field while you are sleeping! It's time to upgrade your sheets. Wrap It Up, Make Your Bed I am not a bedmaker. Plain and simple it's always been one of those things that I grumble about having to do, never remember to do, or question the point-because we are going to get back in it later, am I right?!But even I have to admit, it looks nice. It feels good to accomplish that thing right away in the morning. And I don't make my bed all "fancy". I literally throw the sheet and duvet up over the pillows and call it a day. But hey, I DID IT! It's the climbing back into the sheets, my 100% cotton sheets, the sheets that I picked and are 100% for me, that really does it. It's running my Healy on the Rebalance program via the coil and sliding it under my pillowcase, taking a few 4-7-8 breaths, recapping the activities of the day and showing gratitude, then letting any thoughts flow into my mind, any memories, any plans, any ideas, until I drift off to beatiful sleep. This is a new term to me, and it keeps coming up. Being that I am drawn to things that have an effect on our bodies, I've just got to do a deeper dive to get a better grasp on what this is, and why it has such an impact on our health. I slightly touched on this topic in my post Molecules, Redox Molecules because the redox signaling molecules are a part of this process, and ultimately, the redox supplement ASEA is why I've gone down this rabbit hole in the first place. While killing everyone might be a slightly harsh statement, I stand by it. This completely normal process has been thrown way off track of homeostasis, and the ways that it can impact each of us individually are limitless, especially since it does its best(worst) work on our gene expression. This silent killer hits us where we didn't even know it could hurt, our DNA. What Is Oxidative Stress? Oxidative stress is a phenomenon caused by an imbalance between the production and accumulation of free radicals, otherwise known as oxygen reactive species (ROS) in cells and tissues, and the ability of our body's system to detoxify these reactive products. In order to understand what it is, we need to first explore what the biological and chemical process is that gets us to this point, so I'm going to try and break it down very simply, and hopefully, the image helps. Many natural biological processes in our bodies, such as breathing, digesting food, metabolizing alcohol and drugs, and turning fats into energy produce harmful compounds called free radicals. Free radicals are usually destroyed by our body’s natural antioxidant system. If this system cannot cope properly, free radicals can trigger a negative chain reaction in the body, a reaction that can destroy the cell membrane, block the action of major enzymes, prevent cellular processes necessary for the proper functioning of the body, prevent normal cell division, destroy deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA), and block energy generation (Kurutas, 2015). Our bodies are set up to balance out their processes. This is why antioxidants and redox signaling molecules are so important! They counteract the natural cellular waste.However, beyond normal physiological roles, excessive production of ROS can occur in response to such stressors as toxicant exposure, radiation damage, and disease, resulting in local oxidative stress and consequent adaptive responses. Contributing Factors to Oxidative Stress Living in America, there's a contributing factor for you. While this is probably true for other countries as well, I live in the USA, so that's what I know. Let's list some things that are major proven contributors to oxidative stress: These are a few medications that are proven to increase oxidative stress. Diclofenac is an NSAID, like ibuprofen and asprin. Paracetamol is like Tylenol. Just these two medications are things that people take on sometimes a daily basis! Others are cancer-treating drugs and an antipsychotic, so really wielding a double-edged sword here. How Does Oxidative Stress Effect Me? Stress and free radicals are implicated in a wide range of clinical diseases that impact a variety of tissues and systems, making them one of the most significant and ubiquitous threats to human health. Telling you, killing everyone. This can manifest in: This isn't a comprehensive list. However, everyone can identify with one or more of these issues. These things aren't normal people! While some of these may come along with aging, we also can age so much better than we are led to believe, or have seen in our families. Oxidative stress is the underlying factor in almost every discomfort, disease, or ailment. Western Medicine: More Cause than Cure There are neurological diseases and age-related diseases that also are largely based on oxidative stress, primarily affecting the brain.Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), multiple sclerosis (MS), depression, and memory loss are these types of diseases.Let's think about how these are treated in our medical system and the fact that doctors don't really know what causes the onset of them, which is so frustrating. As stated above, two of the main medications in everyone's medicine cabinets are a cause of oxidative stress. We are so used to taking Ibuprofen or Advil that we don't even think twice about the effects that it's really having on our bodies. We want the quick fix to a symptom, however, this does not address the root cause and does more long-term damage. Western doctors are no longer trained to look at the whole human for the cause of disease and discomfort. Their job is to prescribe medication, schedule surgery, or send you to the next "expert" for expensive testing and minimal diagnoses. The study of oxygen-reactive species really only started about thirty years ago, and that's when the push of eating anti-oxidant rich foods and taking supplements really came into the market. You know those are good for you, but have you ever wondered why? This is why oxidative stress and the plummeting effects it has on our overall health. How To Create Homeostasis within Yourself Let's talk about some good ways to keep yourself healthy and vibrant! Or get yourself back to that state, because you CAN! This is by no means a comprehensive list, just dipping the toe into rejuvenating waters.First is first my dears, you have to be conscious of the food you are putting into your body. We HAVE to get away from this over-processed, negative nutrition diet. Even when eating more whole food based, it's important to try to buy organic (or even better-grow your own) because our soils have been depleted and there just is not as much nutritional value as there used to be. Especially for meats, be extremely conscious of where you get your meat, thinking of all the chemicals and pesticides that the animal is being fed and treated with. There are so many incredible nutritional superfood supplements and additives out there that adding to your daily intake will help immensely with your overall health and energy. Second is obvious lifestyle choices. Don't smoke cigarettes and keep your drinking moderate. Make sure that you are staying active, and not just physically! Drink more water, the good water that doesn't have pharmacuitical waste and flouride and whatever else in there. Get good sleep! We all know how important sleep is, so let's actually put that into practice! If you aren't aware of how important sleep is, check out my post The Importance of Sleep and Healing. Third is to reevaluate your relationship with the products you are using everyday. It's time to take ownership of your personal health, and a great place to start is with your personal care products and household cleaning products. You are slowly poisening yourself, and your body is exremely good at detoxing and limiting the damage of these products, but so much energy is going into maintaining that, they are wiped out, and when we keep piling things on top, this is where the oxidative stress comes in, your body can't keep up. Switching to nontoxic, plant based, or even homemade personal care and cleaning products can be a little bit of an adjustment, and no one is asking you to be perfect. Just be aware of the dangers of these products, and do the best you can. The fourth aspect to look at is your automated conditioning to fill your medicine cabinet with over the counter medications. Everything from cough syrup, pain relievers, cold and flu pills, sleep aids, migrane pills, energy supplements, heartburn and acid reflux tabets, all of it. None of these are native to our body. None of these have zero side effects. It's time to shift our thinking when it comes to healing ourselves, and using more natural methods. 5 Physical Senses, 6 Clair Senses, and the Parallels Between Them
We have been taught since childhood that we have 5 basic physical senses: Sight, Smell, Taste, Touch, and Hearing. On this journey of awakening, spirituality, metaphysical study, whatever you may call it, we have been made aware of the "clairs"(meaning clear): Clairvoyance (seeing), Clairaudience (hearing), Clairsentience (feeling), Claircognizance (knowing), and Clairalience and Clairgustance (smelling and tasting- not as common, but it's worth noting). You're probably aware there are more than 5 physical senses, at least, I hope that you are. Science concludes that there could be from 22-55 senses, and honestly, probably a lot more depending on how specific we wanted to categorize them. In this article, we are going to look at the parallels between the 5 physical and Clair senses, which may be kind of obvious, but hey you may learn something.We are all capable of all of the Clairs, even if one is more predominant, or if you think you do not have any at all. You do. These are as natural to us as the traditional 5 senses, we just haven't learned about them since a young age. But what if you did? You would have accepted it as fact, and paid attention. You would see, hear, taste, smell, and touch the physical and nonphysical planes! What a badass kid. We are an energy body before we are a physical body. A physical manifestation is a direct result of an energetic stimulus. Overlay of the Five Senses Sight and Clairvoyance Okay, so this is one of my favorite exercises for vision. Pick a point, far-ish away, you can play with distance later but let's start out with something at least 20-30 feet away. While keeping your head and eyes aligned with that point, I want you to open up your vision and start to take in the panoramic scene around you. Look how much you can see, without moving your eyes. Our panoramic vision is extraordinary, however, it is not often utilized, we have to train ourselves to see more than what is right in front of us. This is what we are doing when we are building our gift of clairvoyance, clear sight. We are paying attention, and we are open to seeing things that are not within our direct field. This is the most well-known clair and is generally associated with visions and mediums. However, this sense can be applied to our physical sight, in the way of seeing signs. Angel numbers, animals, rainbows, shooting stars, seeing someone in your dream or random thought and then seeing them in real life. All these things are ways your higher self communicates with you through your sense of clear sight, the panoramic view of your soul. Hearing and Clairaudience The 'normal' hearing frequency range of a healthy young person is about 20 to 20,000Hz. Hearing is an incredibly fascinating sense, especially since I have delved into the world of frequencies. Hearing is just energy vibrating against a physical structure in our ears. I did not realize until a few years ago that when I was younger I had a heightened sense of hearing, clairaudience. When staying at my grandparents, I would wake up hearing the TV on in the living room, to walk out and it was off. In church, I noticed if I focused on a certain person, I could amplify that person's voice in my head, could also do this on the TV or in a very large group of people. I also have randomly heard music playing either outside or inside, this one still happens. I never talked about it, and I never really explored it more, and it eventually faded out, but of course, is never completely gone. Clairaudience isn't all about hearing voices, although there are those who can do that, from energies around them. I believe it is being open to hearing the music that isn't playing, the random ringing in your ears, and the subtlety of a bird chirping. It's again being open to information that is not thought of as perceptible to our human range of hearing. It's out here folks. Information is all around us. Touch and Clairsentience Our sense of "touch" is an extreme generalization. Touch is probably the largest category of sensation because is information that comes in from a variety of different nerve receptors. A few examples of an expanded touch sensation would be temperature, pressure, itching, and tickling, just to name a few. I could write about the importance of touch all day long, however, I want to include some key physical aspects of touch here. Our bodies were designed to be touched, our bodies release hormones necessary to proper human development in response to touch, and our ability to take in information through the intricate sensations of the body is nothing short of mind-blowing. Because our sense of touch is so powerful and communicates with us in a variety of attention-getting ways, it is no surprise that clairsentience is the most physically persistent type of energy communication. When people describe clairsentience, it is generally described as the picking up of energies within a person or space, like the next level up from an empath. This is all good and true. But I want to explore a little more here, to bring into your awareness how you are a powerful sentient being, even if you don't identify(I dislike that word) as an "empath". Goosebumps. Getting goosebumps when you talk to someone is an incredibly physical sign that you are right where you need to be, that you are onto something and that you are tuned in and turned on. The same goes for sudden chills, a random itch, and the feeling of a bug crawling on us. Next time these sensations arrive, take a moment to become aware of what you were thinking, and what was someone saying, look around your physical space, is there something you are supposed to see? The way we build our energetic senses is by awareness, by being mindful and in the present moment. Since touch is an easily recognizable physical sensation, it makes sense that you would get a strong "gut" feeling about someone or something. Or the fact that your body can release these powerful touch hormones without physical touch because you can FEEL love when you are connected to someone even with the distance between.The sense of clear feeling is transferred through the physical senses of the body. Without that connection, it would be claircognizance, which we will cover soon. Smell and Clairalience This one is a fun one. Our sense of smell is closely linked with memory, probably more so than any of our other senses. This is because the smell goes in our nose through the olfactory bulb and directly into the limbic system. The limbic system comprises a set of structures within the brain that are regarded as playing a major role in controlling mood, memory, behaviour and emotion.We all know that certain smells can trasport us back to grandmas kitchen, the woods behind our house, or some other impactful memory. I'd like to start creating more of these scent bridges...anyhow. Clairalience is the ability to smell things, that aren't there. Again, I believe this happens to all of us, we just maybe weren't intune with it. Most people with clairalience experience smells that they can’t identify when it comes to other people’s moods or energy. Being able to smell how someone could be feeling sounds almost impossible, but those with highly developed senses of clairalience experience this. How interesting to smell something you don't have a name for! I'm interested to learn more about this sense. There are definetely times that I've smelled a smell that should not have been where I was, or caught a whiff of the past. Next time I'll be sure to observe! Are you familiar with clairalience? I'd love to hear from you! Taste and Clairgustance Honestly, I had no idea that clairgustance was a thing until today. However, considering clear smelling is a thing, it only makes sense that clear tasting is a thing. Our sense of taste is actually quite a fascinating set of processes if you like to nerd out on how the body works. I won't go into it here but the National Library of Medicine as a good read on it. To put it sweet and spicy, those who have the clairgustance ability will tend to taste things when they are not in their mouth, or even around them. A memory or a smell can evoke a full-mouth experience, which is another way of your higher self or Source communicating with you. Very unique, and this is another one I'm interested to explore more personally. I think I was a smoker for so long, I'm just really looking forward to getting my full smell and taste back! Claircognizance Clear knowing. Because sometimes we just freaking know things! And wish people would listen, haha. Sometimes they do. But we have to be willing to listen to the knowing first ourselves. Honestly, this is as simple as that knowing. When you just seem to download the information straight from the Universe. When your intuition doesn't want there to be any funny business in deciphering the message, so it just gives it to you as straight as it can. Tips to Strengthen the Senses It would be rude to inform you of these intuitive senses and the fact you possess all of them, without giving some suggestions for how to strengthen them! Spirit Guides and Clairvoyance by Mari Silva is a great little read for this.Practice each one for at least two to four weeks before moving on to the next one. If it is an area you are already stronger in, then that can be shorter, or you can work on two at a time. Generally, it isn't recommended to try and hone in more than one at a time because this isn't a parlor trick. Strengthening your intuition requires intention, focus, determination, and practice. Clairvoyance- Use the peripheral exercise I described above (closer objects work). Do this for 3-5 minutes and journal what you see in your peripherals, any colors, shapes, etc. By cultivating awareness through stillness, you'll start to "see" more at other times. Clairaudience- You get to listen to the voice in your head and not be crazy! To strengthen this voice, go somewhere quiet and safe, outdoors if possible. It's always important to set the intention you are here to enhance your intuition and ask your guides for assistance. Close your eyes and hear yourself take a few deep breaths, then start to listen to the sounds around you. Identify them, really hear them and feel them resonate. After a few minutes, go deeper, listen to the sounds underneath those sounds, and do the same. This can take precision and patience, but you'll quickly start to hear sounds, and the inner voice, more clearly. Clairsentience- This is a good practice to practice reading into other people's energy! Ask a friend or family member to show you a picture of someone they know very well, but you’ve never met. Look at the picture and try to focus on the person’s eyes and try to tune into the energy of this person when the picture was taken. Was this person happy, relaxed? Or do you feel anger and stress? At first, you may just try to pick up positive or negative vibes. Ask yourself what kind of person this individual is. Would you trust this person?When you’re done, ask your friend for feedback. How correct were you? Also, just listen to your body, all day long. Clairalience & Clairgustance- I am putting these together because the practices are similar. For smells, take some time to reflect on smells that you are familiar with, recall those smells, and journal the experience related to them. You can do this for tastes as well if you have ones that specifically stick out. If you have a partner that can blindfold you and offer different smells (or tastes), really feel into each one. Describe it with as many words as possible, recognize any emotions that they trigger, and of course, try to guess what it is. But really the being right part isn't the main goal here, it's feeling into the energy of the smell or taste so that if you run into it again, you'll have a baseline. Claircognizance- Listen Linda! Trust that knowing, before the ego gets in the way. The most simple and profound way to strengthen this is by journaling. Set a timer for 10 to 20 minutes, set the intention of being an open channel for the highest good, and then ask a question such as, How can I find resolution with a problem? What guidance do I need today? Then write. Let it flow, don't spell check, get messy, and don't think too much. This will be difficult at first and you'll feel like you're just tripping over yourself. It gets better, I promise. You'll love what you have to say. Full Moon Energy, A Look At The Cycle and Rituals

I can't say I know anyone who doesn't love and appreciate the moon, in any of its phases. There is something romantic, alluring, mysterious, and powerful about the moon, especially the full moon. I am not an astrologer, and will not be making overtly complex astrological references, or really anything too deep. The night I'm posting this is a Full Moon and I thought hey, that will be a fun topic to explore and learn more about. So here we are. 29-Day Moon Cycle The cycle in which the moon travels is 29 days. This is why it's not on a set date every month, and sometimes they get all wonky(following our calendar) when the months are longer or shorter. It's actually kind of fascinating just to see the fluctuation from 2021-2023. Honestly this really just goes to show how screwy our calendar is. Nevertheless, the basic cycles of the moon are:New Moon: A time for beginnings. When the Earth is between the Sun and the Moon, hence you can't see the moon.Waxing Crescent Moon: A time for slowing down.First Quarter Moon: A time for discernment. Waxing Gibbous Moon: A time to trust. Full Moon: A time to let go. When the Moon is in between the Earth and the Sun.Waning Gibbous Moon: A time to receive.Third Quarter Moon: A time to give back. Waning Crescent Moon: A time to connect. How to Know the Zodiac of the Full Moon As I'm writing this we are in the Sign of Sagittarius, and this Full Moon is in Gemini. The New Moon is associated with the zodiac you are currently in, while the Full Moon is associated with the zodiac on the exact opposite side! This took me forever to catch on hah. Monthly zodiacs= Sun sign, Moon sign= Zodiac from 6 months ahead. This will come in handy later. Folklore of the Full Moon Yes, werewolves are what immediately come to mind when we think of the full moon. It had been a long time since I had looked into the origins of the werewolf stories began, and not to be surprised, Ancient Greece is where the transformation began. According to the legend, Lycaon, the son of Pelasgus, angered the god Zeus when he served him a meal made from the remains of a sacrificed boy. As punishment, the enraged Zeus turned Lycaon and his sons into wolves.|Many cultures have their own versions of the werewolf, the why, the how, and the overall moral behind the myth. Selene was the Titan goddess of the moon. She was shown as a woman riding sidesaddle on a horse or driving a chariot drawn by a pair of winged steeds. She was the sister of Helios, the Greek sun god. Tribute was paid to her on the days of the full moon. Like most Greek goddesses, she had a number of different facets or identities. At one point she was worshiped as Phoebe, the huntress, and later was identified with Artemis.The Roman counterpart was Luna, the daughter of Hyperion and Theia. More to come on her later. Witchcraft is also associated with full moons, as many rituals take place with the lunar cycles. Maybe another day I will write about "witchcraft", but not today. The Greek philosopher Aristotle and Roman historian Pliny the Elder suggested that the brain was the “moistest” organ in the body and therefore the most susceptible to the potentially harmful influences of the moon, which triggers the tides. This is why we think that humans and animals tend to act a little strange during the full moon. It is debated that the Moons gravitational pull has any effect on our bodies, but we are mostly water, so makes sense right? Manifesting With the Full Moon The Full Moon is a powerful time of manifestation, however, it is slightly different than New Moon manifesting. The Full Moon means that we have come full circle, we are shining brightly on all of our intentions and previous manifestations. This is a great time to do group manifestations/vision boards or just spend some time with some like-minded people.Your affirmations and intentions during the Full Moon will want to be Gratitude centered! If you have been doing Moon Cycle rituals for a while, be sure to reflect back and show gratitude for the things you have manifested into your life! Gratitude is really how you stay in that high vibrational manifesting state. This is also the time of the month to LET GO. To shed things that no longer serve you. Prepare yourself to start the beautiful cycle over again. Letting go of fear, attachment to outcomes, and control, are particularly important for creating room for what you desire to flow freely to you. Remember how the Full Moon correlates with the zodiac sign 6 months in advance? Keep that in mind when you are setting intentions, either in the New Moon or Full Moon. Pay attention to when things manifest in relation to this magic of opposites. Moon Cycles for Women For a long time, a woman's monthly cycle was called her Moon cycle. 29 days is no coincidence. According to Miranda Grey, author of Red Moon—Understanding and Using the Creative, Sexual and Spiritual Gifts of the Menstrual Cycle, there are two traditional menstruation patterns. The first is the White Moon or menstruating with the new moon. The second is the Red Moon or menstruating with the full moon. It is known that you will actually switch your natural cycles depending on where you are at in your life. If you are not currently on a natural cycle due to toxins, stress, birth control, and disconnection from nature, it may take some time for your body to restore to its natural rhythm, but it always will if you allow it. Fun fact: Deer and other herbivores in the wild tend to ovulate at the full moon, and in Australia's Great Barrier Reef, the full moon is mating time for coral.Let's revisit the Roman goddess Luna. She is one in a triad of women, there were two other goddesses, Diana and Hecate. Luna was the goddess in heaven and of the full moon, Diana was the goddess on earth and of the half-moon, and Hecate was the goddess in the underworld and of the dark moon.These goddesses represent the three stages of women. Diana, the maiden, Luna the mother, and Hecate the crone (post-menopausal). Another intricate and fascinating topic perhaps for a later day. “Our great symbol for the Goddess is the moon, whose three aspects reflect the three stages in women’s lives and whose cycles of waxing and waning coincide with women’s menstrual cycles.” ― Carol P. Christ 5 Simple Full Moon Rituals Full Moon Water- This is a simple one. All you need is a mason jar and water. You could use any jar or container, however, try to use glass versus plastic. I like to stick a clear quartz tumble in the bottom of my jar to help cleanse the water and amplify the magic. Set an intention, leave outside overnight, and presto, moon water. This can be placed in your sacred space or altar and sipped from, used to water plants that maybe aren't doing as well, or make a room/intention spray with essential oils and any other way you find applicable. I use mine to make my monthly blend of Bach Flower remedies. The intention here is that obviously the water is affected, charged up, enhanced by the moon, and more importantly your intention. One of the intentions I am playing with right now is "I am open to the things that trigger me, for they serve as a guide for where to shine my light. I am calling all parts of me into coherence." The water then serves as a reminder or enhancer of that!Charge Your Crystals- Round them up and put them under the moonlight! Setting your crystals outside will reset and recharge their energy, which can be very helpful to those especially those are absorbers of negative energy around the home. I like to do this every couple months, especially with the crystals I haven't been using very much, or when it is a super special moon. Sometimes I'll set them up on a crystal grid, sometimes just in a basket. No way to do it wrong here lovelies. Mindful Movement and/or Meditation- Think of the full moon really as a special time to connect with yourself and align with the cycles of not only the Earth but of the Universe through the Moon. Maybe you have a steady meditation practice, or maybe this can be a once a month treat for you! There any many guided meditations online that are tailored specifically for the month's specific full moon. Make this a deep gratitude practice, maybe some visualization of things you are working to manifest, but also really important to just surrender, to let go, to trust the Universe is weaving your perfect web. There are also Yoga practices that you can do that are relevant to the specific cycle of the moon. This is a new area for me, and I'll certainly write more about it in the future. Ritual/Self-Care Bath- This is a gorgeous way to honor your intention for the full moon while honoring the most important aspect, yourself! The more time you spend honoring your physical body, rather than critiquing it, the more blessed and abundant you will be. You can go elaborate and luxurious, or you can keep it simple with what you have in the kitchen. What is important is the intention behind it, while preparing and soaking. Howling at the moon- "Howling at the moon is an analogy for describing clear and heart-centered communication established with yourself first and then extended to another. The howl is the spirit of the wolf unleashed in its divine expression. A reverence and celebration for life, even those most haunting aspects of the human psyche, our shadows. Golden Healer Quartz: History, Associations, and Uses

I purchased my Golden Healer quartz tower from a live sale on Instagram, being drawn to it beautiful coloring, and honestly the affordability of the piece. Once I secured the purchase, I had to do some research on the properties of the stone, and was extremely satisfied with the decision I had made!Fast forward a few months until just the other day, when I was looking at my crystal collection and decided to pick it up and revisit its magic. There is always Diving timing for everything, and it became clear to me that now was the time this stone was intended to help me through. The energetic properties of this gorgeous orange/brown crystal will astound and empower you, so let's dive in. Composition and Colors Golden Healer is known in the mineralogy world as Hematoid Quartz, of which there are two types. Fire Quartz has more red and pink hues and coloring, caused by the presence of microscopic hematite particles. Golden Healer quartz has rustic yellow-brown color is caused by the presence of microscopic pyrite (iron) particles inside its natural crystal structure. As shown above, the color of this crystal will include the clear and smoky qualities of clear quartz, with varying shades of golden orange to brown, and may also include some darker brown inclusions. The gold color really is a marvel to look at, and I find myself staring at and getting beautifully lost in all the deep complexities of my stone. Geography and History This crystal was a little trickier to find any information on where it is sourced and how it has been used throughout the ages. From what I did find, it seemed that the Egyptians (of course) had it embedded in scepters and would wear it as pendants to prevent madness! Ancient Egyptians really knew their crystals and their power. Babylonian author Azchalias wrote that the stone would aid in petitions to the King and be victorious in lawsuits, so it was recommended to wear the stone while attending court trials! It can be found most commonly in Brazil and Madagascar, some of the richest areas for beautiful gemstones. Associations A powerful aspect of the Golden Healer is that it is a master healer, it serves all zodiacs equally and lends its powers to all the chakras. Suppose you are one that likes to work with different crystals for each chakra. In that case, the relationship with the crown chakra is probably the strongest, because of the high vibrational healing energy within this stone, and its ability to connect us with our higher selves. It has also been called the Stone of the Sun, due to its color, incredibly illuminating energy, and healing radiance. Healing Properties As I stated above, this gem is a master healer. However it's always good to feel into your crystals and meditations without being guided every once and a while and when I sat for a balancing meditation, with the tower at my root chakra, pointing upwards, the energy after I had gone through each of my chakras, opened up through the crown and created this strong and graceful golden torus energy field around me. I could feel the energy coming up from the Earth and down from Source, basking in the golden glow of the toroidal flow. It was so revitalizing and refreshing. I highly recommend grabbing one of these either from trusted online sources or your local crystal shop owner. It's become almost a fad, trendy for people to have(whether they dye it or embrace their gray), but on the flip side, it is one of the most dreaded indicators of age. Unless you are a man, which then gray hair again can be desirable and attractive! Who can keep up?I'm 32 years old and have gone back and forth with grey hair for the last 7 years. Especially the last 4. Do I know why?Yes, I have a pretty good idea...However, like most things, I get interested in the why's, the hows, and the what can we do's. We will look at the major reasons your hair goes prematurely gray as well as what you can do to slow down or stop the premature graying process! 4 Main Causes of Premature Greys Genetic and Hormonal Factors The average age for grey hair varies quite a bit but we all expect it not until our 40's or 50's at the earliest. One of the main causes of grey hair in your 20s is genetics. Hormonal disorders are a large topic, but just know there is so much you can do to support yourself through these conditions, and there are many ways that you can take back control of your health if you are ready to stray away from the western medical system. Nutritional Deficiency I think this is going to be the biggest factor of early grays in our society today. The fact that we just are not getting our essential vitamins and minerals from bioavailable sources. Again there a lot of factors that go into this, health-related, but stress has been a common theme among these cases. The amount of stress we consider "normal" is so much more than it used to be, even when we were running from lions or living in covered wagons. Your body is really trying to communicate with you, and those premature grays are no different. A new study shows that stress really can give you gray hair. Researchers found that the body’s fight-or-flight response plays a key role in turning hair gray. Think about it. Nerves in your sympathetic nervous system—which is responsible for the body’s fight-or-flight response—go through the whole body, including hair follicles. The study showed that stress causes the release of the chemical norepinephrine into the hair follicle, where your melanocyte stem cells live-these are the cells that continuously create the pigment for your hair. Large and consistent norepinephrine causes the melanocyte cells to rapidly turn into pigment cells and move out of the hair follicles. Without stem cells left to create new pigment cells, new hair turns gray or white. Why do they do this?! Who knows. Maybe when you are constantly running from lions and tigers, the body is calling in every tiny bit of energy, and those melanocytes are dead weight. Not to fear, however! Scientists believe (and I personally have proven to myself) that the gray hairs caused by stress are actually reversible, and not permanent like previous studies had thought. (For premature grays, not if you're 70, sorry). Meditate, take a vacation, and you may notice that your hair is thanking you. External Factors The big E factor.We are eating right, reducing our stress, and yet we still have the grays poking out early! Hair is on the outside of our head, right? So it makes sense that it is affected by external factors, as well as what we are putting into our bodies. The first one we will knock out of the way is smoking. Don't do it, kids. I battled with cigarettes for a long time and it has been one of the main reasons that I will get an uptick in my grays. Smoking results in the generation of the huge amounts of reactive oxygen species leading to increased oxidative stress which leads to damage to those melanin-producing cells, melanocytes. Next up is going to be your favorite. Hair dye. Yes, the thing that you do to your hair every 6-8 weeks to hide the premature grays is actually contributing to the problem. Chemicals are never good folks, especially ones that are applied directly onto the skin. There are options though! 3 Elements For A Powerful Practice of Gratitude
I am so grateful for... I am so thankful for... It is often recommended that we (those on a journey of self-improvement/empowerment/spiritual growth) should keep a gratitude journal, or at least make a list of things we are grateful for at regular intervals. This is truly a beautiful and transformative practice, but having an understanding of WHY is key. Here I will review the three key elements of structuring a gratitude practice, to ensure that you get the most out of this profound and life-changing tool. Power Of Attention When you are giving something your attention, you are focusing, you are engaged, and you are present. If you're writing a gratitude list while on the phone with your friend, you're taking away from its power, and also your presence will be lacking in the conversation as well. The power of this practice is in the detail, whether you are writing three things or all the things you can list. You don't want to prattle off just anything to say you've done the task and then move on. You want to pay attention to things you have had to be grateful for throughout that day, throughout your life. By doing it this way you actually create a mindset to pay more attention to the little things going about your day-to-day. Your brain will be paying more attention to those precious pearls, that gratitude juice. An Intentional Practice This is a special time of the day or night. This is the time set aside for you to intentionally make yourself feel freaking great! You can't be grateful and angry or jealous or feel lacking at the same time. Sure, you can feel this one second after, but if that's the case, I'd say you aren't committing to the practice with intention. As stated above, we can't breeze through gratitude like another item on a checklist. Create a ritual for yourself, get comfy, maybe light a candle, hold a favorite crystal, and use a special notebook and pen. This practice can be done in the morning or evening, anytime really, but right upon waking or right before bed seems to be the most powerful. Before you write anything down, either in your head or out loud connect with your intention to explore, express, and embody gratitude. You could write that down first too if you'd like. Then take one to three deep slow breaths, and begin. By creating a habit, a ritual, this sacred time, and begin you will start to signal yourself to get into this place of thanksgiving, just by settling yourself into your space. Embodiment of Gratitude Alright so we are paying attention to what we are doing, we've created our ritual/special time, so we are ready to write down that list of incredible things! Right? Kind of. There's a final piece. FEEL IT. For each thing that you right, sit with it, breathe with it for a moment.I personally like to smile. Allow those words, that thing, or experience to fully penetrate your being. This may take some practice at first, as you just have all these exciting things you want to write down. This is where the magic happens. By fully feeling into your gratitude, you are raising your vibration and sending the message to the Universe that this is something you appreciate, this is what you resonate with, and more of this is what you are calling into your field! Gratitude is the secret code to manifestation. Not super secret, but in case you didn't know. Reflection This is my personal take on gratitude, and these are the ways that I have "structured" my gratitude practice based on the points of resistance I encountered.
